Mark is absolutely amazing. Planning a wedding was so overwhelming for me. I contacted Mark, and every bit of stress just fell away. He helped so much during the planning of our elopement, including giving us some peace of mind when the weather looked like it wasn’t going our way. He took care of everything for us. The weather cleared up, and after an intimate ceremony, we got to spend several hours running around, taking photos and having fun with Mark. It was a pleasure to work with him and share our day with him. 

This company is fantastic! We had decided to elope earlier in the summer and were waffling on whether or not to go with an external company to provide an officiant/take pictures. A week before the wedding we contacted them with an inquiry and they were very responsive and willing to accommodate our needs both quickly and efficiently without any difficulty whatsoever despite our last minute contact. The wedding location, officiant and pictures were AMAZING!! We were so pleased with the wedding photos! They were professional quality and looked as if they belonged in a magazine. Great experience and would highly recommend them to anyone seeking wedding planning.

From first contact with Mark, he was very helpful in planning an intimate wedding….  we were able to have a beautiful wedding surrounded by family, gorgeous scenery, and even some elk. Mark’s patience and flexibility is only outshined by his skills as a photographer. He managed to make two very self-conscious people comfortable in being the focus of his work. He has a great eye for capturing moments that’ll make family members feel as if they were present. Thank you Mark for being a part of our special day. – 

Mark and his wife Melanie were amazing. Mark was very easy to work with. We met with him once before the ceremony, and he helped us pick the location and walked the whole area with us prior. Melanie officiated our ceremony and was wonderful. We spent time with them and our parents after the ceremony and they are great company. Mark made a delicious (seriously one of the best I’ve ever had), heart-shaped cheesecake for the two of us and brought champagne glasses and sparkling grape juice (my request vs. champagne) for all of us to do a toast. There was a special set of champagne glasses that were for us to keep, and this is just the beginning of personal touches that Mark and Melanie included. Mark was a lot of fun as a photographer, and really helped us ease in to very natural pictures. He captured expressions and emotions beautifully, and we treasure what he was able to do with his camera and talented eye. The photos turned out better than I had hoped for. They are absolutely incredible. I recommend Simple I Do’s whole-heartedly and am so thankful to them for making our day exactly what we dreamed of. Thank you Mark and Melanie! 

Mark and Melanie were the perfect people to assist us with our wedding ceremony and pictures! They were both so patient, kind, welcoming, fun and accommodating. They truly made our day so special…and the pictures are absolutely amazing! I can’t begin to explain how much I appreciate Mark. Our Asheville elopement started with a huge snow storm unexpectedly that later made our “Special” day feel like a fairytale. The morning of our wedding day, our wedding officiant canceled on us one hour before we were to meet. In a panic my friend and I began to google and call every wedding officiant that we could find in Asheville. Call after call, the only answer we heard was “honey… I’m snowed in… I’m sorry!” On the fifth call, Mark answered his phone. He was more than delighted to hike through the cold and snow to help us start our journey as a married couple. And he didn’t require a huge heads up… he was ready to roll in one hour. He and his wife met us at the Botanical gardens for a ceremony that was originally scheduled at a small local church. He showed up with his hat and boots and his sweet little wife. They were perfect for our wedding!! We are country folks and they fit in with us just like family! After arriving at the botanical gardens I suddenly realized that I had forgot my fur shawl. I was so upset because we had to hunt it down and drive out of our way 2 hours to buy it when we realized that all stores were closing due to the weather and our wedding was gonna be a unexpected outside wedding. Mark was so patient and considerate. We changed the schedule around and he did our pics as a friend rushed back to the hotel to get my fur shawl. I never felt rushed by him or his wife… we laughed and talked and shot photos along the creek and truly enjoyed the beautiful snowy scene. Mark and his wife stayed out in the cold snowy air an extra hour making sure that my day was perfect. Never once did they complain. Mark did a awesome job at officiating the ceremony. He is truly a sincere good hearted man… we received our pictures back the next week and we are in LOVE. They are BEAUTIFUL and they truly captured the love that Jonathan and I share. I am so happy to have met Mark and his wife so unexpectedly and I feel like they are part of our family on our special day. We look forward to returning for more pics of our family with Mark. I highly recommend Simple I Do’s……. thank u Mark for making our fairytale come true!
